We firmly believe that God is the ultimate Source when it comes to giving here at Camp Lake Baptist Church! Eph. 3:20-21 says, "Now unto Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto Him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen."

James also reminds us in James 1:17 that "Every good and perfect gift is from above, and cometh down from the Father of Lights, with Whom is no variableness, neither shadow of turning." We serve an awesome God who always takes care of His church!

Since we are boasting about Him, let me tell you how God has provided for our new building. We started about two decades ago putting money toward a new building project. Over those first 15 years we accumulated around $300,000.00 but we new it would take a lot more. Then covid hit in 2020, and the wind kinda dropped out of our sails (Oh me of little faith!). That year $100,000.00 was given right around Christmas for our project. Then $110,000 by the end of 2021! Then $120,000 by the end of 2022! A little math will tell you we had $630,000.00! Two special needs had to be taken care of: a new septic and a new well because the old well was in the way. These totaled about $30,000.00 which left us with $600,000.00. Then we were able to sell our church house (reluctantly) but received a cash offer of over $300,000! So when this new project began we had over 90% of the funds! Since it has taken the bulk of a year to complete, enough has come in that we will soon have Phase 1 paid off!
